Pleasure lies in the object outside - the evening was pleasant, his company was pleasant, the place was very pleasant. But when evening is over the pleasure is gone; when the person who gave you pleasure with his company is gone then the pleasure is gone. The experience is gone. Happiness is not like that - happiness is within. We carry it. Whatever may be on the outside, happiness is always within.
