Spiritual Practice and Service of Man – 29
Later, when I went to Australia, in one issue of the Reader's Digest magazine there was an article about this picture. It was done by an English man and he had Jesus holding a lamp. The title of the painting is ‘The Light of The World.’ He had painted two - one was in St. Paul's Cathedral and other, a similar one was in a convent in Ireland. The article said, seeing the painting, his friend said, ‘Oh, you have omitted something.’ The painter asked, ‘What did I omit?’ ‘There is no handle on the door. How can Jesus open it and enter?’ The painter replied, ‘No, it has to be opened from inside by the person.’ That room is the heart of man. So, we have to keep the heart clean.
