The poem ends – ‘let us then be up and doing with a heart for any fate’. Whatever comes I am going to do that. I am going forward through life with enthusiasm, hope and expectation. ‘Still achieving, still pursuing, learn to labour and to wait.’ Be ready to work hard, that is the sign of youth.
