The ideas and ideals of Swami Vivekananda permeated the whole personality of Swami Ranganathanandaji and shaped his whole outlook on life, his thoughts and actions. Swami Ranganathanandaji regarded spreading Swami Vivekananda's ideas all over the world as his chief mission in life. He carried out this task not only through lectures and talks but also through his life. His was an authentic life. Sri Ramakrishna used to say, Apni achari dharma jivere sekhay ' Teach others by practising yourself' Swami Ranganathanandaji practised what he taught.
