Dear Devotees,

Songs of Kathamrita are very dear to Thakur's devotees not only because our beloved Thakur liked them but for the deep spiritual insights contained in them. Most of the non-Bengali knowing devotees have been familiar with these songs through the English translation... A dear friend was looking for the English transliteration of these Bengali songs and and found one such song Sakali Tomari Ichcha from the internet....Thanks a ton dear Easwar for your efforts which I am going to share with the groups along with a request that if anyone has the Bengali transliteration of all Kathamrita songs please share them so that these can be compiled....

The English transliteration gives immense pleasure in understanding these because although the script my not be understood by non-Bengalis we can very well understand the transliterated words...

Thou, that helpest the lame man scale the loftiest hill.

On some Thou dost bestow the bliss of Brahmanhood;

Yet others Thou dost hurl into this world below.

Thou art the Moving Force, and I the mere machine;

The house am I and Thou the Spirit dwelling there;

I am the chariot, and Thou the charioteer.

I move only as Thou, O Mother, movest me.
