Arjuna’s heart was tumultuous in the beginning. In the entire first chapter we don’t hear the Lord saying one word. It is all Arjuna’s bragging. He is showing off all his knowledge as if Sri Krishna does not know the social circumstances or consequences of war. Sri Krishna listens calmly and quietly like a little child! When Arjuna says I am completely exhausted, I have got flu, pain in my joints, etc. and throws himself down in the chariot in complete surrender, then came the Lord’s voice, those high cadences of great music, glorious and fascinating.
