March for Life with Holy Transfiguration

Dear Parishioners & Friends,
If you would like to attend the March for Life on Friday, January 24, and march with other Holy Transfiguration parishioners, please meet by 12:45pm at the corner of 17th St. NW and Constitution Ave., by the little stone "Lockkeeper's House.” We will plan to bring banners to march with as well as the music for the Great Doxology, Polyeleos, and other hymns.
The March for Life Rally will be taking place nearby starting at noon next to the Washington Monument and is scheduled to end at 1pm, when the March will begin from the rally location. (see map here: ,)
If you need help meeting up on the day of the March or are looking for a ride into town, contact Carrie Severino at 616-915-8180. Bear in mind that the crowds and temperatures often make cell service in the area spotty.
Don't forget to dress warmly. After the March we plan to walk to the Heritage Foundation to warm up and grab some snacks before returning home.
