Volunteer & Parishioner Parking for Food Festival

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

Especially to those who have signed up to volunteer at the Food Festival -- Thank you for your generous gift of time -- we look forward to seeing you this weekend!

 

Please see the following message regarding volunteer parking for this weekend, from our Parking Coordinator:

 

As in past years, we are asking all able-bodied parishioners, volunteers, and vendors to avoid parking anywhere on Holy Transfiguration property during the festival. We hope this year’s attendance will break records, and if that’s the case, we will see many thousands of people over the weekend.

We know from previous years that some of our elderly visitors will not come in if they can’t find a space within their limited walking distance, so please embrace the spirit of hospitality so integral to Middle Eastern culture and leave as many spots as possible for our guests.

(Obviously, this request does not apply to anyone for whom a walk from off-premises is a hardship.)

We have secured permission for our volunteers and others to park at the Pleasant Grove Church just down the street from Holy Transfiguration:
