to do for us. When we hold onto who we think we are then, we restrict
what He wants us to do. Are we available to let Him use us, or do we
let only part of ourselves to be used. Jesus is our Lord, do we allow
Him to be so? When we let go, then He can go and do what we need to do
for Him. It is a challenge everyday to see who do we follow. Jesus or
our flesh. The victory is in Jesus not who we are in the flesh. The
control of the flesh puts Jesus second in our lives.
Saturday I went downtown Sacramento, to help Tom and Connie Wilson with
a street concert that they were doing. The music was great, but the
healings and salvations was even greater. They set up a booth and also
an area for healilng and spiritual readings that were free. The unsaved
came for the readings, which were words of knowledge about their lives.
When Jesus spoke to them with the past hurts in their lives, their life
was changed instantly when they accepted the Lord. Also some of the
Christians who came, lives were changed by what God showed them. One
lady who had an injured leg and was using a cane, came for prayer and
when the power of God touched her and she was on the grass, all she
could say was. What a trip, what a trip. She got up and all the pain in
her leg was gone. Others were healed when they were prayed for. One
young person, who's brother is a pastor and who had walked away from
the Lord, saw his friends accepting Jesus and crying with freedom from
their past was mad. They called him over and said that he had a bad
knee that it was hurt. I asked him if he wanted to be prayed for and he
said I don't care. I said yes or no, he then said yes and I just held
his hands. The power of God touched him and you could see the
expression on his face as Jesus healed him. I felt so honored to be
asked to go and help, It was a very exciting time and it was very
powerful the way that they ran it. God really used Connie and Tom and
the groups that played, plus all the other volunteers. Many street
lives were saved by all of the work that they did.
That night we had a very powerful meeting at Lighthouse foursquare
church in Woodland. The presence of the Lord has been getting heavier
and heavier in each of the three churches that we are meeting at
nightly. Friday the Lord said to tell those who have been coming for
prayer for healing for awhile, to come up now. 12 came up and we have
been receiving reports from about 8 that they have been healed. This
was at New Testiment church in Woodland. Sunday we had three services,
one at lighthouse, another at the spanish church that meets at
lighthouse and word of life in Davis. Many people were touched and
lives have been changed.
I just received an email from someone who's life was changed in Truckee
and how different everything has been for her and her family.
