Subject: Next Supreme Court nominee
I feel that the media aristocracy of the church has done a massive
dis-service to the faith by failing to strongly and vocally support
Harriet Miers, who was possibly our best chance at having a born-again
Supreme Court Justice. Do not expect me to support a fiscal or
political conservative so as to protect this new class of monied media
clergy and the wealth they have extracted from common people in the
name of preaching the gospel. These wolves have fleeced the sheep to
pay for mansions, limousines, and executive jets, and now they have the
unmitigated gall to ask those of us who unwittingly helped build these
preachers' fortunes to help them now retain their ill-gotten gains by
our supporting someone on the basis of politics not faith. Many
Christians chose this President because of his faith not his politics
and if we are to have a Christian republic indeed we need more
Christians in visible postions of leadership.--
