we listen to what He has to say to us, then our lives can be changed.
The victory is in Him when we can let go of things that we want to
keep. Possessions are more than just material. They can be emotional
and spiritual. When we are free, we are free indeed. We will never
know who we are in christ until we let go of everything that is around
us, both material and emotional. The bible says never let anything
have possession of you. Either money or anything else.
A woman last night who has been coming to the meetings from a good
distance got up at the end of the meeting and asked if she could say
something. I said yes. Well she came a few weeks ago very hurt and
felt abandoned by the body of christ. She listened and listened to
what has been said. Well, last night she said that all her life she
lived for justice and now she learned to forgive not to hold pain and
to get even. All she said was that she never felt this free in her
life and has no control of it anymore, but now the Lord does. She said
it is the strangest feeling, being free to hear and see the Lord.
This is what we hear from most people who have learned to trust in Him,
not there selves. Being free in Christ, puts us totally dependant on
Him. This is strange to the body, but not to the spirit.
