GOD'S will is spirituality (a 24/7 living relationship 
with the living GOD) not religion (form and ritual): 

JOHN 4 
(Jesus:) The time is coming, when neither on this mountain [as the 
Samaritans] nor in Jerusalem [as the Jews] will they worship the Father... 
The time is coming, and it is here, when the true worshippers shall worship 
the Father in spirit (heart) and in truth (mind); for the Father also desires 

worshippers such as these. For God is Spirit; and those who worship him 

must worship him in spirit and in truth. 

2 TIMOTHY 3 
Know this: that in the last days disastrous times will come. 
And men shall be lovers of themselves, and lovers of money, 
proud, conceited, blasphemers, disobedient to their own people, 
ungrateful, wicked, false accusers, addicts to lust, brutal, haters 
of good things, traitors, hasty, boasters, lovers of pleasures more 
than lovers of God; HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, 
BUT FAR FROM THE POWER OF GOD. From such turn away. 


THE MYSTERY RELIGION of Babylon was the first man-made religion on 
Earth after the creation of Adam. 

It symbolizes all the other man-made religions since, including and 
especially the Roman Catholic - the Revelation 17 woman riding the 
beast and called "The Great Harlot" because she is in love with 

man-made religion / fame / power / money rather than 

spirituality GOD / spirit / truth / love / law.

(Q) Is the Roman Catholic Church the true Church 
founded by Jesus Christ through the Apostles? 

(A) This would depend upon who was asking for such. 
As we would give here, the CHURCH [DDF: ecclesia] 
as founded by Jesus Christ was, is, the Catholic Church 
[catholic church] [DDF: "catholic" meaning "universal" - 
so i.e. the global ecclesia] but NOT the ROMAN Catholic Church! 

This has rather been added, as have most of those - 
in their activities - that call or classify themselves as churches. 

For, the true church is within you, as the Master, as the Christ 
gave himself: "I to YOU am the bridegroom - I to YOU am the 
church. The kingdom is within YOU!" 

Hence that which has been coordinated into the bodies in any 
activity is a representation OF that which has gathered together 
for coordinating activity in whatever field; but are most MAN MADE. 


JESUS was a spiritual scripturalist - he believed in GOD'S word 
The Holy Bible (Old Testament) and worshiped the GOD of that word. 

He did not belong to any religious group of his day and when you 
read the four gospels you see that he railed at the religionists the most. 

He did not found or start any religion and he never told his people 
to do all the things that the religionists are doing. 

Even the term Christian was a slur by the skeptics against those who 
followed The Way, which was what Jesus and his movement were referred to. 

The only thing Jesus did was tell his people to preach to the world that 
the kingdom of GOD was near and so the righteous should have good cheer 
and the wicked better repent and soon. 

We see the example of the 70 that he sent out two by two. He told them 
not to carry or acquire goods, but expect that GOD would provide their 
needs as they went along. 

This is total opposite of the religions that ask for money and spend the 
vast majority of it on themselves and their luxurious homes and other goods, 

as well as expensive buildings, artworks, clothing, etc.

Jesus never ever told his people to name themselves or wear fancy clothes 
or build buildings or make a list of doctrines or et cetera. 

And as far as his comment to Peter in Matthew 16, what Jesus meant was that it 

was by GOD'S people turning to GOD within themselves that the ecclesia or 

church of GOD that has existed since Abel would be built up internally as well as 
their number added to and that Satan would not be able to stop these things. 

That is what Jesus meant about building his church - he meant the church 
that already existed, and the word church there meant the individual people 
of GOD as a group or body [in other scriptures called the body of Christ]: 

1 PETER 2 
You also, as living stones, build up yourselves and become 
spiritual temples and holy priests to offer up spiritual 
sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 

COLOSSIANS 2 
Just as you have therefore accepted Jesus Christ our Lord, 
so you must be led by him: rooted and built up in him, 
and established in the faith as you have been taught. 

ACTS 20 
And now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, 
which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance 
among all the saints. 

JUDE 1 
But you, my beloved, build up yourselves anew in the holy faith 
through the Holy Spirit, by means of prayer. Keep ourselves in 
the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ 
and for the life which will be ours forever. 

EPHESIANS 2 
Thus from henceforth you [Gentiles] are neither strangers, 
nor foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, 
and children of the household of God; and you are built 
upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, 
Jesus Christ himself being the corner-stone of the building: 
And through him the whole building is fashioned and grows into 
a holy temple through the help of the Lord. You also are 
built by him for a habitation of God through the Spirit.
