The concept is appealing, yet the film crafted by Caroline Lindy needs to realize its potential fully. "Your Monster Myflixer" presents a contemporary twist on "Beauty and the Beast" intertwined with elements of "A Chorus Line," as it follows a heartbroken singer navigating the ruthless world of musical theater rather than a picturesque French setting.
