Set in the Canary Islands, "American Star" tells the classic story of a skilled assassin embarking on what might be his final mission. When Wilson, the main character, first appears on the stunning island of Fuerteventura, we are introduced to him. After renting a car, he travels to a lavish, modern house in a far-off place, only to discover that his target is missing. In order to complete his goal, Wilson decides to drive to the coast and stay at a beautiful hotel by the water. He will wait for his target to return. But as the days pass, he finds himself drawn more and more to the peaceful island and its tight-knit population.
