Hello, Spinners
Roxanne asked me to pass along this reminder.

This Saturday, 7/20/24, is a free Sheep Shed Spin-In, hosted by Hollow Tree members Cyndy Wollenweber and Roxanne Mikulecky, at Shepherd's Knoll Farm,15515 Nelson Road, Woodstock, IL from 9am-2pm. The weather forecast is looking gorgeous and there is a ton of space for spinners on the grounds and in the modern, newly renovated horse barn. This is not your average barn. It has spotlessly clean concrete floors, generous overhead lighting (as well as natural light) and a modern restroom.

You will need to bring a sack lunch, beverage, wheel/spindle and fiber. Folding chairs will be provided, but you can bring your own chair if you prefer. Bring closed-toe shoes if you would like to have a face-to-face encounter with the sheep, goats, chickens, donkeys or horses (you can change into sandals afterward, if you wish).

All people (adults 18 years of age or older only, please) and all fiber arts are welcome. We hope you will stop by and stay awhile!
