Christmas is coming the Goose is getting fat…Please to put a penny in an old Man’s hat.

Well, there is no goose getting fat at my home, but Christmas is still coming.  We will have our annual  December “Pot Luck” guild meeting on Sat. Dec. 14th starting at 10 am.  And as usual show and tell is encouraged.

We live about 15 minutes away from The Fold.  The address is 9409 Voss Road, Marengo, Il.   The home phone number (if you need help finding us) is 815-923-4449.  We are south of town by about 5 miles.  The address is on the mailbox and on the green fire sign at the end of the driveway.  We do not have as long a driveway as Toni did, so if you would like to carpool that would be great.  My husband will be here and help with parking.  Our home is in the woods and difficult to see from the road. We are on the west side of the road across from a large white house on a hill with a four-board pasture fence.  GPS does find us. If you have any trouble, please call.

You are welcome to bring a dish to pass.  I will have Baked Potato soup and a dessert made.  It is always fun to see what everyone brings to add to the day.  Another thing that is not as large as Toni’s was, is our living room.  But we are all friends and will do just fine making the best of the spaces we have.  Spinning wheels are welcome.

Our “Bring a gift-get a gift “ exchange has been dwindling.  How about if we just share friendship this year.

If you haven't got a penny, a ha' penny will do,
If you haven't got a ha' penny, then God bless you.

See you on the 14th!

Sharon
