Snowmobile Conditions Report
Tuesday January 19, 2010

Much needed snow has arrived. Trails are currently being packed and
groomed.
State wide totals vary from 1-12" Colder temps needed for snow to set
up.

Riders should use extreme caution. Avoid open bodies of water and stay
off of ice.

Coos County

Pittsburgh - 2" new snow on 8-18" base. Trails are groomed and riding
is great. Caution - Shared logging Roads. Jct # 2238 at 112 & 143
Please do not stop and park in shared road.

Colebrook - 1" new snow on a 6-8"base. Trails are groomed, riding is
good to great. Caution Rails are showing.
Stratford - 2-3" new snow on a 6" base. Trails are groomed and
riding is good to great. Caution Corr 3 N From Burns Truck Stop to Jct
3 & 7 Closed for logging.

Groveton/Nash Stream - 2-4" new snow on a 8 -10" base. Trails are
groomed, riding is good to great.

Groveton Village - 2-4" new snow on a 2-3" base. Riding is moderate
to. Use Caution on rail line. Rails are showing.

Diamond Pond/Coleman State Park- 3" new snow on a 16" base. Trails
are groomed and riding is great.

Errol - 1" new snow on a 4-6" base. Trails are groomed and riding is
good. Caution - Trails are still being signed. Please stay off plowed
logging roads unless signed open.

Cambridge - 3-5" new snow on a 4-6" base. Trails are groomed and
riding is good to great.

Milan - 3-5" new snow on a 4-6" base. Trails are groomed and riding
is good to great.

Twin Mtn - 4" new snow on 12-24" base. Trails are groomed and Riding
is good to great. Caution - Rails are showing.

Dalton - 3" new snow on a 6" base. Trails are groomed and riding is
good.

Berlin - 2-3" new snow on 4-6" base. Trails are groomed and riding
is good.

Berlin/Success - 4" new snow on a 4-6" base. Trails are groomed and
riding is good to great.

Gorham - 4" new snow on a 5-7" base. Trails are groomed and riding is
good.

Jefferson - 4" new snow on a 4-9" base. Trails are groomed and
riding is good. Caution Rails are showing.

Lancaster - 2-3" new snow on a 2-4" base. Trails are groomed and
riding is moderate to good. Caution - Rails on rail line are showing.

Whitefield - 2" new snow on a 1-3" base. Trails are groomed and
riding is moderate to good. Caution - Rails are showing.

Franconia Notch- 4-5" new snow no a 2-4" base. Trails are groomed
riding is good.

Carroll County

Bear Notch/Bartlett - 6" new snow on a 6-8" base. Trails are groomed
and riding is good. Caution - thin cover on rails. Watch for mushers
and cross country skiers.

East Conway - 8" new snow on a 3-6" base. Trails are groomed and
riding is good. Caution-Open water bars and icy base.

Ossipee - 8-10" new snow 4-6" base. Trails are currently being
groomed. Riding is marginal on Rails and good on remainder.. Caution -
Open water bars and Rails on Castle trail is thin at lower elavation.
Logging on Corr 15.

N Conway - 8-10" new snow on a 4-6" base. Trails are good and riding
is marginal to good. Caution - Open water bars and RR tracks are thin.
Cathedral ledge trails has been packed and not groomed.

Moultonboro - 4-5" new snow on a 2-3" base. Trails are being groomed.
Riding is marginal.

Sandwich - 6-8" new snow on a 4-6" base. Trails are groomed and riding
is good.

Wakefield/Seven Lakes area -10-12" new snow on a 3-6" base. Trails are
groomed and riding is fair to good. Caution Rails are thin.

Wolfeboro - 12" new snow on a 3-6" base. Grooming is ongoing and
overall riding is good. Caution- Thin cover on rails, deep water bars
and watch for beaver bog issues on Pollys trails, use reroute.

Grafton County

Lisbon - 3-5" new snon on a 1-4" base. Trails are groom and riding is
marginal. Caution deep woods trails are thin.

Bridgewater area- 4-6" new snow no a 4-6" base. Trails are groomed and
riding is moderate to good.

Plymouth- 4-6" new snow 1-4" base. Some trails are not groomed. Riding
is marginal to moderate. Caution - Open water bars. Logging west of
Sandwich Notch. New fence in trail through construction at Plymouth
State University.

Baker River Valley- 5" new snow in lower elavation, with a 1-2" base.
10" new in higher witha 8-9" base. Trails are groomed and riding is
fair in lower and good in higher. Caution open water bars and icy
spots. Poker Run and Chicken BBQ Saturday Jan 23 at Club house. Run
starts at 8am BBQ at noon.

Merrimack County - Check clubs web sites for updates

Bear Brook State Park - 8" new snow on 3-5" icy base. Groomers are
out packing. Caution - watch for waterbars.

Strafford County

Milton- 2-4" base. Minimal grooming at this time and riding is
marginal. Caution Open water bars icy and thin.

New Durham/Powder Mill - 2-5" base. Trails are groomed. Riding is
marginal to moderate. Caution- Sporto trail closed. Stay off swamps,
lakes and ponds.

Rockingham County

Newfields - 1-3" base. Trails are groomed and riding is marginal.
Caution Icy thin base and open water bars.

Derry - 1-2" base. Trails are groomed and riding is marginal.Caution
- Washout just east of Windham Depot. Area has been flagged.

Pawtuckaway State Park- 8" new snow on a icy 3" base. Groomers are
out packing. Caution for waterbars.

Hillsborough County

Sullivan County

Pillsbury State Park - 9-12" new snow. Grooming in ongoing. Overall
riding is moderate to good. Caution - Mad Road is closed for logging.

Unity/Acworth - 4-5" new snow on a 1-6" base trails are groomed as
weather and temps allow. Riding is marginal to moderate. Caution -
open water bars.

Claremont - 90% open. 5" new snow 2-6" base. Grooming has stopped and
will resume when temps allow. Riding is marginal to moderate. Caution
- Early season conditions. Celanis trail is closed. Sugar River Trail
2-7" base.

Cheshire County

Pisgah State Park- 6" new snow. Trail is being packed, need cold temps
to set it up.

Hinsdale- 4" new snow on a 5" base. Trails are packed and not
groomed. Rail beds are open and overalll riding is fair. Caution - Icy
and bare spots.

Rail Trails
Concord to Lincoln - Open Caution - Equipment on rail in New Hampton
North of Dana Hill Rd Bridge in Ashland station.
Northern Recreational Rail Trail, Open for riding -
Farmington Recreational Rail Trail - Gates have been opened.
Rockingham Rec Trail - 8" new snow on an icy base. Groomers are out
packing.
Presidential Rail Trail - Open for riding.
Ashuelot Rail Trail - Open for riding. .
Sugar River Rail Trail - 9" new snow. Riding is fair.
