NH Bureau of Trails Snowmobile Conditions Report
Tuesday February 23, 2010

Snow is expected for the entire state this week as we are looking at 2
potential storms.
Temps will determine total accumulation. Please check back Friday for
update.

WATCH FOR CLOSED SIGNS AND BE AWARE OF ICY CONDITIONS .
STAY OFF LAKES AND PONDS.

Coos County

Pittsburgh - 2" new snow 5-10" base. Trails are groomed and riding is
good . Corr 20 from VT to Pittsburgh Village, has good riding. Caution
- Shared logging Roads. Jct # 2238 at 112 & 143 Please do not stop and
park in shared road.

Colebrook - 1-8"base. Trails are groomed. Riding is good to . Riding
into town is marginal. Caution - Rails are exposed from Colebrook to
Stewartstown.

Stratford - 2-6" base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate to
good. Rail bed is marginal riding.

Groveton/Nash Stream 2-8" base. Trails are groomed, riding is good
to great .
Groveton Village - 0-2" base. Riding is marginal . Caution - Rails
are exposed and some icy areas.

Diamond Pond/Coleman State Park - 1.5" new snow on an 8" base. Trails
are groomed and riding is good to great. 2010 Sno Deo March 5th & 6th

Errol - 1-4" base. Trails are groomed. Riding is good. Caution -
Primary 115 (Charles Trail) is closed from Jct of Corr 18 to the Jct
of the 13 Mile Trail, due to logging, Use Primary 110 to Corr 18 to
get into the town of Errol.

Cambridge - 1-4" base. Trails are groomed. Riding is good.

Milan - 1" new snow 1-4" base. Trails are groomed and riding is good.

Twin Mountain- 2-4" new snow 2-8" base. Trails are groomed and riding
is marginal to good. Caution - Rails exposed.

Dalton - 2-3" base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate to
good.

Berlin - 1-4" base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate to
good.

Berlin/Success - 1-4" base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate
to good.

Gorham - 1-4" base. Trails are groomed and riding is marginal to
good. Caution - . Corr 19 South of Gorham not groomed and riding is
poor.

Jefferson -2" new snow 1-6" base. Trails are groomed and riding is
moderate to good. Caution - Rails are exposed and PLEASE stay on trail
when crossing golf course in Jefferson.

Lancaster - 1-5" base. Trails are groomed and riding is marginal to
good. Caution - Rails are exposed.

Whitefield - 0-2" base. Trails are Not groomed. Riding is marginal to
moderate. Caution - Rails are exposed.

Franconia Notch -4" new snow 1-2" base. Trails are groomed. Riding is
marginal to moderate.

Bear Notch/Bartlett - 4-10" base Trails are groomed and riding is
moderate. Caution - Thin cover on rails, use caution on icy corners.
Watch for mushers and cross country skiers. Please slow down in
village.

Check individual clubs website for further information.

Those trails that are still open are reporting bare areas, and icy
conditions.
Watch for signs and hazard warnings.

Merrimack County - Weare/Dunbarton - Hop-Ev Parking lot access has
closed. New access via Ray Rd off Rte 77 Dunbarton.

Hillsborough County

Sullivan County - Unity/Ackworth Crescent Lake Regional Sno-riders is
hosting its 10th Annual Radar Run/Ride-in on Crescent Lake in Unity
and Acworth. Saturday, February 27th from 10AM-3PM. 1000' plowed ice
track. Trailer parking is available.

Cheshire County Hinsdale 3" base. Riding is fair. Rail bed riding is
poor.

State Park Trails -
Bear Brook State Park -Closed until more snow is received
Pisgah State Park - Closed until more snow is received
Pawtuckaway State Park - Closed until more snow is received
Pillsbury State Park - Closed until more snow is received

Rockingham Rec Trail
