GROOMING IS NOT ANTICIPATED IN THESE AREAS UNTIL CONDITIONS CHANGE.
EXPECT OPEN WATER AND ICY CONDITIONS.
NORTHERN NH HAD A GREAT BASE TO BEGIN WITH AND TRAILS ARE STILL BEING
MAINTAINED. YOU CAN FIND GOOD RIDING IN THOSE AREAS. COLDER TEMPS AND
MORE SNOW ARE IN THE FORECAST FOR LATER THIS WEEK AND INTO THE
WEEKEND. SETTING UP GREAT CONDITIONS FOR A GOOD BASE.
CLUBS AND BUREAU STAFF ARE OUT ASSESSING THE TRAILS AND PUTTING UP
HAZARDS WHERE NEEDED. AVOID LAKES AND PONDS. CAUTION ON ALL RAILS AS
THEY ARE EXPOSED AND ICY.
Coos County
Pittsburgh - 4-9" base. Trails are groomed and riding is good.
Caution - Shared logging Roads. Jct # 2238 at 112 & 143 Please do not
stop and park in shared road.
Colebrook - 3-4"base. Trails are groomed, riding is good. Caution -
Rails are showing from Colebrook north to the rest area.
Stratford - 4" base. Trails are groomed and riding is good. Caution -
Corr 3 N From Burns Truck Stop to Jct 3 & 7 Closed for logging.
Groveton/Nash Stream - 4-5" base. Trails are groomed, riding is good.
Groveton Village - 1-3" base. Riding is marginal to moderate. Use
Caution on rail line. Rails are showing.
Diamond Pond/Coleman State Park - 10" base. Trails are groomed and
riding is good.
Errol - 2-3" base. Riding is moderate. Caution - Please stay off
plowed logging roads unless signed open.
Cambridge - 2-3" base. Riding is good.
Milan - 2-3" base. Trails are groomed and riding is good.
Twin Mtn - 3-9" base. Trails are groomed and Riding is good. Caution -
Rails are showing.
Dalton - 3" base. Riding is moderate.
Berlin - 2-3" base. Riding is good.
Berlin/Success - 2-3" base. Trails are groomed and riding is moderate
to good.
Gorham - 2-4" base. Riding is moderate. Caution - Corr 19 South of
Gorham is marginal riding.
Jefferson - 2-4" base. Riding is moderate. Caution - Rails are
showing.
Lancaster - 1-3" base. Riding is moderate. Caution - Rails on rail
line are showing.
Whitefield - 1-2" base. Riding is marginal. Caution - Rails are
showing.
Franconia Notch - 1-3" base. Riding is moderate.
Bear Notch/Bartlett - 3-4" base.Riding is moderate. Caution - Thin
cover on rails. Watch for mushers and cross country skiers. Please
slow down in village.
