This is great, I am very excited about the potential of a Holland
Coworking space.

Very recently I looked a at space in Washington Square that looked
promising as a potential office space for myself and a few others.

The owner is in process of refinishing the whole thing. There are
actually two spaces that are connected by a doorway. He is also
considering selling the whole building which includes the two offices
and an apartment for around $150,000.

The two offices have different characteristics. The space next door to
the Biscuit is a wide open space that will be tiled, and is about
560sqft. The other space is the whole first floor of a house, it has
4 areas, a front porch, a larger square room (18' x 20'), a back
office, and a bay window area. The owner is putting carpet in this
space, and it is probably about 750sqft.

The rent for the spaces is $550 for the first, and $650 for the
second, and a better deal for both.

The rent and location are both great, the size and layout might not be
though.

I'd like to shy away from Washington Square. I've been watching it for
the past few years and whereas the area is getting better, the space
isn't large enough and not close enough to other important things.

I'm seeing the space best in downtown Holland (8th street area) for a
lot of reasons. A few building owners are giving us a call on building
own/leasing costs and I think the Collective Idea guys may have just
gotten a space downtown as well.

What to look for
==================
We'll want to look for about 2,000 - 3,000 square feet to have a
comfortable space. On average, you want to plan for 150 sqft/person.
This allows you to organize the space in a few different ways but
still leaves room for common area, quite zones (folks need to make
phone calls), etc...
