Barack Obama gave a very impressive speech today, and I forwarded the transcript for anyone interested. Except for a little anti-trade diversion into the evils of corporations trying to make profits towards the end, I agreed with most of what he said. It's the most honest and accurate assessment of race relations in the US that I've heard from a politician yet. It's also his first speech where I've been impressed just reading the text. Erik
