Haven't heard from anyone lately. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving holiday.

Bill,

I finished reworking my other trailer and got the boat on it. It really pulls very good compared to the old one.

I was down last weekend to get the leaves up but didn't try fishing. Anyone catching any?

I was down over thanksgiving but didn't get to fish. We put the boat on the trailer and covered her up for the winter (getting a boat lift this spring!). Gonna be down for New Year's so if we get a good weather window I will probably uncover her and make a run! Other than that I am done for the winter (basketball season's 70+ hour weeks don't leave much time to fish).

Hey John, It's a long time from now to spring. I think you'll probably try it long before then but 70 hr. weeks don't leave a lot of time to think about anything else either. I have the jon boat down there, hoping I will get to try the trout and maybe gigging but the weather is never good when I am off for a weekend. We want to go offshore bottom fishing some time near the New Year holiday.

I was down last weekend just to check the new roof on the house and to button up for the winter. I look forward to the new year and some great fishing with some great friends. Hey Mike, I would love to try some trout fishing with you some time. I have thought about it several times and just never got around to giving it a go. Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope you have a wonderful New Years.
