Nursing Home for Tito Nick

Blessings!

Please pray with us as we wait for the result of my conversation this morning with the Administrative Officer of Whiddon Group, formerly the Masonic Nursing Home, which is just up the road from us. I was asked if I do not mind a shared room for Tito Nick. I do not mind at all, knowing he will be moved to a single once there is a vacancy.

They were now able to access the records of Tito Nick which was caught within the transition from the old to the new system of My Age Care when he was released from Liverpool Hospital on February 4.

Since he came home, I have been caring for him and everything is just getting more difficult each day. My back and my knees are most especially affected, not to mention my neck and my arms. And we are mostly on our own. There was a time I had to ask for help from Mike Pimentel at 12:00 midnight, as Zandro had something to attend to that night, to lift him up from the floor where he slumped.

Much as I want to continue to care for him, I feel I have come to a point where I have realised what I can and cannot do for him.

Many papers need to be done which I still have to send to Canberra. I didn't know that it is asset and income tested to get into one.

It is not the cancer that is the concern now. It is the onset of dementia. He is hardly eating and had lost a lot of weight. Chemotherapy was stopped and no one can tell me if the dementia was caused by it. You get no answer from any of the 5 doctors who were looking after him when he was confined.

I am leaving everything to the Lord. His will be done.

Sister,

You are a strong woman of faith and your testing is at present. Please continue to hold on and know that we are here continuously praying for you and your family. The Lord allow all these things to happen for a good purpose for everyone. We should never lose sight of that in spite of. God loves you and we love you too!
