Here is the week 22, bite sized message from GINA for sharing with colleagues:
Asthma action plans: As part of supported asthma self-management, provide a personalized written asthma action plan for each patient, tailored to their medication and health literacy, so they know how to recognize and respond to worsening asthma. https://bit.ly/3GJsGY6
A written action plan can be handwritten, printed, digital or pictorial. Patients need more than verbal instructions about what to do when their asthma is worsening : for examples see:
