[OK] button
Transmits the settings to the device, and closes the dialog box.
If you change the IP address, the device will restart, and communication will be temporarily interrupted.

Information such as the IP address assigned to virtual devices specified in the "Match Devices by IP Address" dialog box is applied to the "IP Settings" dialog box in a single operation.
For details, refer to "Settings for controlling devices across subnets" .

[Assign IP Addresses] button
Applies the information shown in the device list to the "IP Address" dialog box. Even if the [DHCP] option button is selected in the "IP Address" dialog box, the [Static IP] option button is switched to the enabled state.

When you assign an IP address to a virtual device in this dialog box, ProVisionaire Amp Editor searches for devices on the network by IP address.
If you want to control a system that is on a different subnet than ProVisionaire Amp Editor, make settings here.
For the procedure, refer to "Settings for controlling devices across subnets" .
Dante audio communication is not possible between devices that are on different subnets.

This dialog box lets you update the firmware of a supported unit.
For details on how to update the Dante firmware, refer to the Dante Firmware Update Manager user guide "AUD-MAN-Firmware_Update_Manager-vX.Xja.pdf (vX.X is the user guide version )."

"ProVisionaire Monitoring Service" is software that monitors the status of compatible devices in the network, and continues collecting information.
Information from "ProVisionaire Monitoring Service" running on another computer can also be shown. In this case, settings are made in "ProVisionaire Monitoring Service Setup" dialog box .
You can decide whether to install "ProVisionaire Monitoring Service" when installing the following software.
* ProVisionaire Amp Editor
* ProVisionaire Control (V3.5.0 and later)
* ProVisionaire Control KIOSK (V3.5.0 and later)
For details on compatible devices, refer to the web pages for ProVisionaire Amp Editor or ProVisionaire Control.

[Get Log from Devices] button (XMV series only)
Displays the "Get Log" dialog box. Obtains alert information from devices that store it internally, and saves it as CSV format.

Alert
Shows the contents of the alert and an icon. If an information button is shown, clicking it opens a "Solution" dialog box containing information about how to solve the problem.

Configure In-Sight devices with invalid network settings. These devices are automatically detected and displayed in the list. If an In-Sight device is power-cycled while the dialog is open, it is also added to the list.

Reset Sensor Settings to Factory Defaults: When enabled, resets all the settings for the In-Sight vision system (except for the network settings in this dialog) to the factory defaults. For example, user list, discrete I/O, date/time, host list, serial and FTP settings will all be reset. For more information, see PROC.SET

Selecting this option will reset all the settings for the In-Sight vision system (except for the network settings in this dialog) to the factory defaults. For example, user list, discrete I/O, date/time, host list, serial and FTP settings will all be reset. One possible application is if you have forgotten the password to a vision system and want to revert to the default, which is .

I still see the old firmware. Without success, I tried this several times as also tried the older 12.09 version, or checked out trunk and built the package myself by the instructions in the wiki here: -link/dir-615?s[]=dir615

Finally I ended up with dd-wrt, which I could easily upload via the firmware upload dialog in the web frontend of the router. Anyway, I actually prefer having openwrt run on my device. I'm sure this can't be a big issue, since it actually should work, as I read from others.

Please, noone has running OpenWRT on DIR615 H2? Why doesn't it accept and flash the OpenWRT firmware? Where to start if I want to debug what is going wrong? Are there any logs, possibilities, pin readouts I shall have a look at?

The 30/30/30 approach works well with the dir615. If openwrt is installed, even ssh/telnet or other ways are possible. Everything works but the webpage/upgrade mechanism. From what I read (rumors) the device would scrumble a firmware.bin throwing trx header errors, since it's poor capability of very old html standards.

For flashing do a hardreset. Configure e.g. 192.168.0.1 (dir615) and 192.168.0.2 (pc), hold RESET for about 30s. Unplug the power but continue holding RESET for another 30s. Then power the dir615 again and still keep RESET hold for about another 30s. The amber led should start blinking. Then on pc open a browser on 192.168.0.1, which shall open a firmware update dialog. Browse to firmware.bin and proceed.

Updating the software is done in two steps. First, LabOne is updated onthe PC by downloading and installing the LabOne software from the ZurichInstruments downloads page, as shown inSoftware Installation.Second, the instrument firmware needs to be updated from the DeviceConnection dialog after starting up LabOne. This is shown in Updatingthe Instrument Firmware . Incase "Periodically check for updates" has been enabled during the LabOneinstallation and LabOne has access to the internet, a notification willappear on the Device Connection dialog whenever a new version of thesoftware is available for download. This setting can later be changed inthe Config tab of the LabOne user interface. In case automatic updatecheck is disabled, the user can manually check for updates at any timeby clicking on the button in the Device Connection dialog. In case an update is found, clicking onthe button "Update Available" shown in Figure 1 willstart a download the latest LabOne installer for Windows or Linux, seeFigure 2. After download, proceed as explained inSoftware Installationto update LabOne.

The LabOne software consists of both software that runs on your PC andsoftware that runs on the instrument. In order to distinguish betweenthe two, the latter will be called firmware for the rest of thisdocument. When upgrading to a new software release, it's also necessaryto update the instrument firmware.

In the Basic view of the dialog, there will be a button "Upgrade FW"appearing together with the instrument icon as shown in Figure 3. In theAdvanced view, there will be a link "Upgrade FW" in the Update column ofthe Available Devices table. Click on Upgrade FW to open thefirmware update start-up dialog shown in Figure 4. Thefirmware upgrade takes approximately 2 minutes.

Every time I print from one of the computers in my home, I get the dialog below. (The dialog does not come up when I print from other computers.) This is annoying, but not too bad of a problem. The real problem is that when I print PDF files from the computer, this dialog comes up on the server, and I have to remote connect to the server to dismiss the dialog.

The MX922 is only capable of 2.4 GHz wifi, and only designed to support a single core router; mesh networks may run into problems if set up . These specifications which may be incompatible with some Google network devices.

AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! Tried again with same result, download failure at 10%, closed dialog, all back to normal. There must be a problem with downloading this file, I know VM in the UK are having problems with corrupt downloads, maybe my connection is affected too. Ah well, at least I can access my MBL.

Now I update to this new firmware released Sept.6, and I have speeds that average 20-25MB/s up and 20-25MB/s down. Completely unacceptable. After several years with the MyBookWorld at 12MB/s to finally have 100MB/s was amazing. For ONE night until I update the firmware. And back to square one. ( As well, it took three failed attempts for the firmware to stick.)

Timemachine readers with an X in the product name (Eg. Pro XWR, Club XR, etc) have a built in network router.
It is important to check this router is running the latest firmware, to ensure that network communications with your reader are not lost.

To configure the DHCP server, you must find an open IP address that is not used by any other device on the network. If you're not sure of the addresses of all Tesira devices (including expanders), look at the network settings of all units (expanders are found by clicking the Remote Devices button) within the Device Maintenance dialog of the Tesira software. If you're not sure what other IP's are being used by other devices on the network, contact the network administrator.

Once the new device has a compatible IP address, a Server-class device can discover and configure it. This can be confirmed by returning to the Tesira Device Maintenance dialog. Click the Remote Devices button and the new Expander-class device(s) should be seen on the network:

You must have a local module connected to your computer in order to perform firmware updates, either to update local firmware through the serial connection or to use the local device to remotely upgrade another module in the same network. With a local module properly attached to your computer, follow these steps:
