ThePanzermrder is a towering enemy, towering nearly three times the size of a standard zombie. It is seemingly constructed of a metallic frame encased in zombified corpses. Parts of the metallic frame can be seen, such as the legs not being entirely encased in flesh alongside various bolts sticking out across the body. It's arms are held together by metal branding that is bolted onto the frame, with the fingers of the creature being made out of legs. The maw of the creature is made from the heads and torsos of multiple zombies, to which when it wails all of them expand out and scream, alongside any other head on the monster. Klaus Fischer, still alive, is attached to the torso of the monster.

There are two questlines in The Final Reich Zombies map: the Final Reich path and a hardcore path. The base questline can be completed by finishing all the objectives that appear when you press the Touchpad. The Hardcore questline can be completed by discovering the hidden Easter Eggs on the map.

Players have the option of playing a Prologue before actually jumping into the Zombies match. The Prologue will give you a basic introduction to the Zombies mode and put you against two waves of zombies. Once you're ready to go, follow these steps to complete the mystery of The Final Reich.

Your adventure starts at the village entrance. Zombies from Wave 1 will come at you and your team will accumulate Jolts every time you kill a Zombie. Open the gate to the Village once you have enough Jolts and head into the Village. The Lebenblitz Power-Up can be found outside of the Village entrance. This costs 500 Jolts and increases the speed of revives.

Drop down into the newly-blown open hole you made and activate the generator you find below. You can find the Laufenblitz Power-Up right when you drop down into the hole. It costs 2000 Jolts and increases your sprint speed.

In the Central Command room there are three doors: a Laboratory door, a Morgue door, and a Salt Mine door. In order to progress, you need to open the Laboratory door and Morgue door first. Each door costs 1500 Jolts to open. There is also the Faustblitz Power-Up located in the Command room which costs 2000 Jolts and provides increased Melee damage.

Once these doors are open, find the power panel inside each area. Once you activate one power panel, you must activate the other within a limited amount of time. Doing so will activate the Bunker power and allow you to access the Salt Mines. In the Laboratory, you can find the Schnellblitz and the Schildblitz Power-Ups. The Schnellblitz costs 3000 Jolts and increases reload speed. The Schildblitz costs 2000 Jolts and gives you a burst of damaging electricity whenever you reload a weapon.

Zombies will come at you once the hilt is examined. Killing zombies within the red circle to collect their souls will charge the hilt and the device will glow orange once it is fully charged. Head back to the command room once this is complete. In the command room there is a closed metal device that you can interact with. Open this device to let the hilt rise to the ceiling.

If you've made it this far, now would be the ideal time to unlock the Pack-a-Punch Easter Egg. The Pack-a-Punch Easter Egg is essentially a weapon upgrade station. This significantly increases the ammo and damage of your weapons so make it a priority! To upgrade your weapon, it costs 5000 Jolts. To buy ammo, it will cost you 4000 Jolts.

There is a breaker panel behind the Tesla gun assembly device. Activate this panel in order to start the next quest. Here you must take note of the colors beneath each number on the breaker panel. The colors will be different each time you play but will always be red, blue, or green.

There are four switches around the map that must be matched with the indicated color. There is a time limit to this process and it must be done in order of the breaker panel. Failing to do so will restart the encounter.

If all switches correspond to the correct color, a lightning rod at the Tower can be activated and need defending from waves of Zombies. You can find the Kugelblitz Power-Up in the Pub right before the Tower. This costs 2000 jolts and increases damage of all your weapons.

Head back outside to the Village to encounter a Zeppelin. You must shoot at the orange and red lights underneath the Zeppelin in order to drop a generator. Once the generator drops, you must find it in the Village.

Take the battery back to the Left Hand of God. You will be slowed down and unable to shoot while carrying the battery so coordinate with your teammates so they can protect you. You must repeat this process three times for three batteries. On the third encounter, the Zeppelin will try to recover it's dropped generator so you must shoot it back down again.

Once you are in possession of the Zombie Head, you will need to find four paintings around the map. The Zombie Head can emit a blacklight by holding L2. This blacklight will help you find the secret combination on the paintings.

Flashing the blacklight at each painting will reveal a Raven and a Roman numeral number (1-5). Each Raven will be either facing up, down, left, or right. It is key to remember each Raven and Roman numeral number. Head back to the Salt Mines and altar room once you memorize each Raven and number.

To lure out the boss, shoot the hilt in the altar room with the constructed Tesla Gun. Each player must shoot the hilt at the same time. Grab the hilt and a cutscene will ensue with the boss spawning.

Stay out in the Village and avoid getting close to the boss. The boss mechanic is similar to the previous Zeppelin encounter. Shoot the red light on the Zeppelin to drop a generator, charge the generator and insert the battery into the boss.

After a slew of controversial entries in the Call of Duty zombies saga, Treyarch have returned with Black Ops Cold War, which, though not quite perfect, seems to have done a great job of satisfying CoD zombies fans both new and old. With four more seasons of content in store, we can't wait to see what's next for the legendary mode.

The most recent survival map, Firebase Z, re-introduced the Russian Manglers boss zombies, which were first seen in Black Ops 3. With that in mind, we're interested to see what other famous boss zombies from the past could be returning to the fold in the future.

Megaton zombies were the flagship new enemies of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's zombies mode when it first debuted, appearing on the lone launch map Die Maschine. Large, lumbering monsters in hazmat suits, they're made iconic by their sickly green/yellow hue and their second phase which sees them split in two.

Though not overly difficult to deal with for experienced teams, they can certainly be intimidating for new players, and, should squads fail to be adequately prepared, they can be quite a handful. They don't have the nostalgia factor of boss zombies from previous games, but that shouldn't detract from their overall appeal.

A strange entry in the Treyarch's rogue's gallery, famous horror movie director George Romero, most known for popularizing zombie movies with his seminal work Night of the Living Dead, was immortalized in the original Black Ops zombies mode. A staple feature of Call of the Dead, a zombified Romero would slowly pursue the player, flying into a rage when attacked.

With an over-abundance of health, taking Romero down was quite the feat. However, when defeated, he would reward the player with a Wunderwaffe, an all-time great zombies weapon which was first introduced in World at War's Der Riese map.

First introduced in Shi No Numa, the third installment of World at War's zombies mode, hellhounds have been one of the few constants of the ever-changing zombies formula. Accompanied by fog and foreboding warnings in unique rounds dedicated entirely to them, hellhounds rounds were hugely important to the game's evolution, as they brought with them guaranteed max ammo drops.

Usually, hellhounds aren't very difficult to dispatch, offering a bit of a reprieve for beleaguer zombie slayers. That said, the can be a nuisance if players are wielding weapons which need to be reloaded frequently.

Though it's often forgotten by fans of the Black Ops subseries, Call of Duty WWII's take on the zombies formula managed to innovate without straying too far from what made the mode so popular in the first place. While many tired of it fairly quickly, it should be commended for staying true to the horror themes present in the initial World at War maps.

The Darkest Shore's primary boss enemies, the Meuchlers were terrifying, multi-armed monstrosities that leapt from the map's thick fog and attacked players with an unmatched ferocity. Easily one of the creepiest boss zombies of all time in terms of design and aesthetic, WWII's Meuchlers deserve more credit than they initially received.

The Call of Duty zombies storyline has often flirted with the concept of Lovecraftian horror, with the most prominent example of that being Black Ops 3's Shadows of Evil map, but such inspiration can also be seen on the new map, Firebase Z. Should players make it to round 30, they'll be forced to defend a section of the map from the mysterious eldritch god Orda.

A towering beast that's reminiscent of the Panzermorder from WWII zombies, the Orda stands far out of harm's way, is nearly impervious to most scorestreaks, and can take some serious coordination to take down.

Perhaps the single most intimidating boss zombie of all time, the Krasny Soldat was clearly designed for the wide-open terrain of Black Ops Cold War's new zombies mode. Nearly impossible to escape and brutally difficult to deal with in close quarters thanks to his flamethrower, the Krasny Soldat has likely ended more Outbreak runs than most players would care to admit.

The epic final boss fight of The Final Reich's main Easter egg in WWII zombies, the Panzermorder is a mortifying mass of bodies that perfectly represents the horrific overtones of the 2017 Call of Duty installment's undead slaughterfest. A hulking goliath that can only be taken down with repeated airstrikes, it's an utter nightmare to fight, particularly during the much harder "true" Easter egg.
