Hello everyone,
It is time again for the update! Hope the summer is going well for everyone. We are only half way through the summer and it has already been a great one for the band and me!!
First order of business:
We are in the Shiner Rising Star Competition again this year. I am THE ONLY WOMAN in the competition, which was a huge compliment because there are alot of talented women front people and songwriters in the Metroplex. There are alot of great bands in this years competition, many of whom are my good friends, so it is going to be an exciting time for us! We compete in the first round THURSDAY, AUGUST 9TH AT LOVE AND WAR IN TEXAS IN GRAPEVINE SHOW STARTS AT 8:00!!!!! Please mark your calendars and come out and support the CC Cross Band!!! We will be on the OUTSIDE STAGE, all ages are welcome, and smoke should not be a problem!!! This is a really important night to me personally. I would truly love to be on the Shiner Label with my mentors and friends Darryl Lee Rush and Mike McShane, and my friends The Lost Immigrants, and Miles From Nowhere!!! I would also really love to be the FIRST WOMAN on the Shiner Label!!! Please come out and support me in this competition. The band and I have worked our TAILS off this year, and I really feel like we have a great shot. We will do our part and blow them away with the music and the show, but WE NEED YOU to come show the Shiner Label that CC Cross fans are loyal, large, and loud!!! Please forward this information to anyone you know who would like to be there!!!!!
We had a GREAT time at Taste of Dallas and Landry's last weekend! Thanks so much to all of you who came out to support us and watch us on the main stage! It was such a great experience, and it was really exciting to wake up Monday morning to see that our picture was the headlining picture for the entire Taste of Dallas event on www.nbc5i.com , you can still see the slide show if you search Taste of Dallas 2007 at that website.

Thanks to all of our friends and fans who came out to support us in Waxahatchie this weekend at Lucky's. Thanks to you we had the second largest drawl they have ever had!! We sold out of Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Coors Light, Shiner, Heineken, Corona, and Guiness, all they had left was a few Miller Lites!!!! Your support means more than you know!
We go into the studio as planned Sept. 7th to record our first cd with Chris Bell, which is both a privilege and an honor.
