US UWH Nationals Update; decision by May 1

Hello, hockey friends.
Thank you for your patience on this promised update about US Underwater Hockey Nationals.

While we would love to present you with a concrete decision, we still feel the public health situation is too uncertain to make a decision about the dates we have booked for June (June 26-28). Colorado is currently on a stay-at-home order until April 26, but that date could be extended.

So here is the plan:
Through April (and the currently scheduled end of stay-at-home in Colorado), we will continue to monitor the spread/mitigation of COVID-19 and state and national public health recommendations, and work with the USUWH committee to make a go/no-go decision for Nationals in June. We will have that announced to you by May 1.

If no-go, we will present a contingency plan: postponement to new dates later in 2020, or cancellation and looking ahead to 2021.

In the meantime, we recommend against buying flights or making any irreversible travel arrangements to Denver.
