Dear UWH community,

Please forward to your respective clubs or individuals you know may be interested.

We are hosting a Men's Event on September 10 and 11 in Denver, Colorado. We have pool time on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. The event will be the first tryout for the Elite and Master's teams. The 2023 World Championship will be held in Australia from July 17, 2023, to July 30, 2023. at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre. Some Nationals teams are already training, and going to international events. So if we want to be competitive, it is time to start training too!

If you are unable to attend this event but still want to try out please fill out the questions listed below.

If you are interested in participating please email the information listed below to  usam...@gmail.com. We need the information by August 21, 2022. Registration fee $100. The fee will help pay for coaches and pool time. Travel expenses for this event are NOT cost-shared. Please send the registration funds to  usam...@gmail.com.

- Do you currently have all the legal equipment and paperwork to attend the tournament and represent the United States?

As soon as I get a full and updated list of interested players, I will communicate registration information.

What we expect from Elite Players:
Individuals trying out for Elite should workout a minimum of 7 hours a week.
3 pool sessions a week. Each session should have a kick-only set
4 cardio sessions out of the pool.
Start practicing Vs, figure 8, In and Outs, and the Star Drill.
The expectations are the bare minimum. Start a log now so it can be reviewed.

What we expect from Masters Players:
Individuals trying out for Elite should workout a minimum of 6 hours a week.
3 pool sessions a week. Each session should have a kick-only set
3 cardio sessions out of the pool.
Start practicing Vs, figure 8, In and Outs, and the Star Drill.
The expectations are the bare minimum. Start a log now so it can be reviewed.

What we expect from Members:
Interested in attending a high-level event
Interested in improving as a player
Interested in helping develop high-level hockey
