與各位報告一下最近的進度。牧長們這次去台灣基督之家實習也看到基督之家也在敬拜上已有轉型。我想這也會幫助本家敬拜團隊的推動。牧長們希望我們在人事上有好的規劃以確定以後敬拜團隊有足夠同工每週服事。我建議我們第一步進行敬拜團隊事工調查。這有幾個好處：

-- 分配事工：當有敬拜團隊有缺同工因為度假或出差，我們可在這資料中找到可能的協助。敬拜團隊負責人可調動不同隊伍的人力資源。

-- 發掘人才：有不少人可在多項事工上有貢獻，只是我們可能不知道。

-- 規劃練習：找到大家都能練習的時間是敬拜團隊一大難題。我們需要有好的資訊聯絡與規劃練習時段。

-- 提供訓練資訊：我們可與英文堂敬拜團隊合作提供所需的訓練資訊。以幫助我們在音樂上更上一層樓。

與各位報告一下最近的進度。昨天我有機會與牧長詩班對於將來有可能的主日敬拜團隊有進一步的討論。他們對於我們上次所凝定的敬拜團隊規範十分滿意，也表示我們對這事工的用心認真看待。我也有機會與詩班對於敬拜團隊的誤會一一化解。牧師的態度是一但我們往這方面進行，就沒有試用期。每個禮拜都要足夠的同工與練習。所以他希望我們在人事上及規範上有好好準備。長老們將進一步討論 when and how (一堂或兩堂）。

我會近期再與大家開會討論下一步。也請大家盡量在團契與帶敬拜時遵行上次一月牧師所給我們的guideline，把每次團契敬拜當成主日敬拜來執行。這將幫助牧長對會眾對敬拜的改變有好的溝通。

若有任何問題，我將樂意與大家討論。

Per our conversation over the phone, Rev Kwan has the intention to proceed with worship team leading during the Sunday services.  His intention is to build a musical ministry platform where our church members can serve and grow, as he constantly reminds us 人比事重要。It is a big transition for our church as it can literally set the tone for our church, so he would like 3 worship teams to plan how we should execute such transition.

From what we've seen from other churches, some may welcome the change but we should also expect resistance.  Let's plan to meet next week (tentatively set Sunday 7/5 1:30pm to draft a plan to be reviewed by Rev Kwan and Elders so that we can adjust the plan if necessary so that the transition can be as smooth as possible.

I put together some questions that I think we should be on the same page for all 3 worship teams:

-- What is the core value (核心價值) this Sunday worship team?  Since musicians usually have their own opinions, we should clearly define the core value that everyone can agree upon so we can work toward the same direction.

-- How should this Sunday worship team formed?  A new team from members of 3 teams or rotate among 3 teams?

-- How can we maintain Sunday worship team consistency?  Rev. Kwan did mention about his concerns about style and personnel divergence of 3 teams.  How can we keeping our worship teams cohesive?

-- How do we do with existing worship leaders and pianists, and organists?  How can they participate in this ministry? (Again think about the point Rev. Kwan cares about: 人比事重要)

-- How can Sunday worship team compliment with existing choir and Children orchestra?

-- What is the musical and spiritual prerequisites and qualifications of Sunday worship members?

-- What kinds of policies should we strictly follow (e.g. no-practice-no-on-stage policy, minimal prayer meeting attendance and church/fellowship involvement) ?

-- Song/instrument selection and flow consistency?

-- How should we improve ourselves?  Should we have monthly sync up meeting w/ Elders and Rev Kwan?

-- Last and probably the most important: phase plan?  How should we introduce Sunday worship team to the congregation?
