Volunteer Applications

Dear HOBY Alumni and Friends:

Today, HOBY International released it's volunteer application for the 2011 program year.  Even if you don't know how you might be helping HOBY Maryland for 2011, or if you will even be able to attend the seminar, we do ask that you fill out an application as it helps us keep track of who is interested.

All applications will fall into 1 of 3 categories.  

• Returning volunteers from 2010:  You must still complete a new 2011 volunteer application.  You may apply for the same position, or a new one.  If you are interested in a new position, please feel free to contact me directly to discuss further as we have many opportunities.
• High school age alumni:  You may fill out the application for one of our under age 18 alumni volunteer positions (whether new or returning) -- what Maryland refers to as Team Alumni (TA).  However, these applications will require further approval once we release our formal TA applications via email and Facebook later this year.   You will not be approved until we have determined the full team of TA, however, you should still apply now so that we know you are interested.
• New volunteers:  If you are an 2010 alumni parent, or simply looking to come back to HOBY and get involved, we'd love to have you.  Please make sure all your contact info is correct and apply for a position, or simply choose "I Don't Know."  I promise we will be in touch with you soon to follow up.

All applications will require approval.  The application only takes a few minutes!  Please don't delay and fill it out ASAP so we can get started on making 2011 the best seminar ever!

Lastly, a note on meeting dates:  The Corporate Board will be meeting this week to discuss initial plans for 2011.  I promise another update within the week regarding all our plans for the year including when meetings will be taking place.  Stay tuned!
