1)  Team Alumni Applications Now Available

 

Team Alumni Applications for 2011 are now available at http://www.hobymd.org/2011taapp.pdf.  All applications must be postmarked, and physically sent in (no email), by January 10, 2011.

2)  Fall Reunion - January 14th

 

It's the HOBY Maryland Fall Reunion! We will be volunteering at Tilden Middle School in North Bethesda helping disabled kids and teens to socialize through music.
Please download the necessary forms, complete them and bring them with you to the event.

3)  Recruitment Update - Is Your School In?

 

We need help with recruitment!  To do this, all Team Alumni applicants and all volunteers who can are being asked to take on 5 schools as part of this year's recruitment challenge. 

What you need to do:

1.    Email recru...@hobymd.org          
2.    Include your name and home high school

3.    You will get a return email with 5 schools to call, listed in a spreadsheet
4.    Your first group of five will include a SIXTH school – your own!  You cannot be on Team Alumni if your high school does not register a student for 2011.
5.    Keep track of when you last called each school, when you actually spoke to someone, and when they have indicated to you they have registered.

6.    Your email will also include scripts for calling and emailing, registration materials, and other useful information for you and for schools.

7.    When you’ve gotten all of your schools to register, let us know, and we’ll give you a few more.  The more you register, the greater your chances of being selected for Team Alumni.

8.    To be considered for Team Alumni, you MUST participate in recruitment
