Side Quest: Specail Explore

Some of you might have gotten to the point where you take part in the
neighborhood watch and you fall asleep unless you do something against
it so I thought to myself I'd show you what you have to do to get this
one the right way.

1. You need to obtain Action Comics 1 from the yard sale. This
actually is the hardest part to do because the yard sale has gotten
rare and you don't always get what you want... nevertheless the Action
Comics cost $200k I believe (please correct me when I'm wrong) so you
need to carry $200k with you while exploring the Hoburbs.

2. You need to wear a Plastic Helmet (can be purchased at Toys'R'Us)
to prevent you from being knocked out with a flashlight.

3. You need to have eaten the Redder Hots (Red Hots + Gasoline in
Inventing Room and then light 'em on fire).

4. You need to wear the Green Head Band (well who doesn't???).

5. You must NOT wear the Green Gloves.

6. You need to have reached a score of at least $2500 in RPSLS once in
your hobolife.

Once you match all the requirements you can go explore the Hoburbs and
once you get to the neighborhood watch it should look like this





Whilst walking down the sidewalk one evening in Hoburbia you spot a
poster stapled to a telephone pole.

Together we can beat out crime! Join the Neighborhood watch!

Below that is a phone number. You pull out your trusty cell phone and
call the number, and before you know it, they've got you working the
night beat! You're hanging out in the security booth at the
neighborhood entrance. It's around 2AM, and you start to doze off...

You pull out your copy of Action Comics #1 and flip through it for a
few minutes before you hear a noise...

You peer out the booth and don't see anything...

*BAM* Somebody whacks you over the head from behind!

Luckily, your helmet protects you from the blow! You turn around to
see a big hairy mean-looking bastard wearing a leather jacket,
headband, and wielding a big metal flashlight.

You jump out of the booth and are about to rush the guy when one of
his buddies comes up from behind and grabs hold of you...

The thug behind you lets go screaming!

Thug: Ahhhhhh! What the hell? This guy is on fire! Literally! Freakin
burned me!

A whole group of thugs appear out of the darkness! There's gotta be a
dozen of the bastards! You notice that they all seem to be wearing
matching headbands...

Thug: Hey this guy's got one of our patented green headbands on...

Other Thug: See if he knows the secret hand shake!

You recognize the hand signals! He's doing the Rock Paper Scissors
Lizard Spock motions in order!

You mimic the motions, starting with Rock and ending with Spock. The
thug reaches out his hand and you grab it and shake.

Thug: Well, looks like you're part of the syndicate? Wanna help us
with this job? It'll be a lot more profitable than your neighborhood
watch gig.

You spend a half hour helping the thugs loot some houses. By the end
of your heisting you end up with the following loot:

You get the Gold Watch

You get the Harvard Degree

You get $95840

You even got one of their cool thievin' flashlights out of the whole
thing! Not a bad haul!
You get the Flashlight

USE FOR FLASHLIGHT:
Go down the falling pit the same way as you did on day 18 (drink fizzy
falling soda, and then o 8*b o 2*b o b o)


You land at the bottom of the pit with a slight thud. It smarts a
little, but you're not hurt. It's pitch black at the bottom, and it
smells pretty awful...

You pull out your flashlight and flip it
on. The bottom of the pit is covered in garbage. You point the
flashlight at the wall and see hundreds of framed pictures of Veruca
Salt as a little girl.

This must've been her hideaway after the Everlasting Gobstopper took
hold of her...

You turn your flashlight and suddenly you spot something glowing a
bright gold. It's some kind of egg... You walk over and pick it up.

You get the Golden Goose Egg

You burp up the rest of your soda and float back to the top of the
pit.
