Is a version of railsinstaller that installs rails 3.0.x available
anywhere? If not, is there an easy way to downgrade rails from 3.1.0
to 3.0.x?

Sorry, I should have put this in context. I am trying to follow
Rapid Rails 3 with Hobo but can't continue past the installation
because the curret railsinstaller uses Rails 3.1. Can anyone suggest
how to modify the installation to use Rails 3.0.x? I've used Hobo
1.0 and would like to see the current 1.3 RC.

don't know from personal experience but from what I've read, the rails installer includes gem. so, you should be able to do a gem install rails -v 3.0.9

Alternately you can go to http://rubyforge.org/frs/?group_id=5288 and
download the 1.3 version of the rails installer. Sorry, I meant to
post that for you yesterday and forgot. I did this for a small project
at work recently.

Thanks! It worked.
I developed a small app using Hobo 0.8 about two years ago. I moved
it to 1.0 but haven't touched Hobo since. Hobo was great with 1.0,
but 1.3 looks incredible. I have another small app to do and with I'm
almost done in just a few hours.
