hobocoy syntax

[peter.peter...@gmail.com]

I know this tools is great for backiing up files that are locked; but I was wondering if there was a way of copying lock files as another name in the same directory?

 

Example, I can use 'copy c:\logs\file1.txt c:\logs\monday.txt" and it makes a copy of the file1.txt to monday.txt

No, that's not supported. You can, however, use shadowspawn to to do this:

shadowspawn Q: C:\logs xcopy q:\file1.txt Q:\monday.txt
