Amazon Firestick

From the website, it looks as if VLCStreamer is supposed to work on Android devices as well as iOS and I thought the Amazon Firestick was one such device. However, I cannot see how to get VLCS onto the Firestick.  When I am in the App store on Firestick, the only app that shows up when searching for "VLC Streamer" is VLC itself. VLC just about works, but the interface is ugly compared to what I see for VLCS on my iPad.

Should it be possible to put VLCS onto the Firestick? And if so, can you please advise how to do this?
