Hi Peter,

I just fired up bonjour browser on my (virtual) copy of Win 10 and it seems to work fine.
The only thing I noticed on install was that I had to allow it access to some stuff in the firewall.

could you try reinstalling, and if that doesn't help; disconnect your computer from the internet, disable the firewall, reboot and see if that helps. (If it does - it shows that the firewall is the problem).

remember to re-enable your firewall before connecting to the internet again!

Thanks Confused Vorlon

I managed to fix the problem by the following means, but I am still unaware of the root cause of the problem.
I uninstalled Bonjour Browser from Windows, deletied every folder for Hobbyist Software in Program Files and App Data (for all users), rebooted the PC and reinstalling Bonjour Browser. That was all it took. Previous attempts where it didn't delete folders didn't work. However, before I did any of this, Kaspersky Total Security had updated itself to a new version. The Kaspersky re-installation is the more plausible reason for success this time.

Doubts remain about the root cause but Bonjour Browser is now running beautifully now.

I appreciate your prompt and helpful response.
