Any way to select subtitles from the remote?

Hi,

If you save the .srt with the same name as the movie, then it should auto-load

e.g.

folder/movie.avi
folder/movie.srt

if you swipe up on the cone, then you can find the tracks advanced control (assuming iOS here) and that will let you pick between subtitles if there are multiple subs, or embedded subs.

Hi -- I am looking to understand this too.

I am on iOS 15.3.1, using VLC Remote Pro and everything connects OK. Can play/pause etc. videos just fine. But want to be able to turn subs on/off to select which subs file to use, whether embedded to external .srt.

But, not sure what you mean by swipe up on the cone? On the control tab, there is only one cone (see attached screenshot) and that does not appear to swipable in any direction.

Any help is appreciated!

Ahh, never mind, being dim. Found the options I need on the Advanced Options Tab :-)
