Error VLC unable to open MRL

Problem summary: Good, just try to have VLC with the VLC Remote but I have a problem and that is when playing a YouTube song (From the VLC Remote) This does not play and I get an error that says that VLC is unable to open MRL someone Help me?

What are the steps to produce the issue?

open VLC Remote, go to the youtube tab select a video and play

What did you expect to happen?

Let the video begin to play on Windows VLC

What actually happens?

Skip an error that says VLC unable to open MRL

Which version of the app are you using?

(iPhone, iPad, Android - which version)

Android-5.15(2871)

Which helper version are you using?

(Mac, Windows - which version)

Windows-3.0.0

I can't replicate this.

does this happen with all videos, or just some?

in the past, there have been issues with some videos that are actually coming from vimeo (or something like that) where they won't play through VLC. I'm wondering if this is the same issue?

Well the truth is I tried several videos and the error persists, so I went to this forum

Any video you press throws the error

ok - I don't find that it fails for any video, so how about this:

you try playing

'VLC Streamer - Quick Start' (this works for me)

send me the error if it doesn't play

you let me know one specific video which fails for you - and I'll try that.
