VLC Streamer helper crash when converting specific video

Problem summary:
One of my MKV videos only converts to 25%. An error is logged in the Windows event log (see below).

What are the steps to produce the issue?
Convert a video. Its size is 2GiB. I used the MediaInfo tool to get the codec properties of the movie:

What did you expect to happen?
I expected the movie to convert fully.

vlc is good - but not perfect, and on top of that, there are a lot of movies out there with errors in the encoding. I can't tell you offhand whether the bug is in the movie or the converter (VLC).

if you can give me a sample of the movie where the bug is, then I could submit a bug report to the vlc team. That might help them to fix things - but it certainly won't be a quick fix.

in the meantime, I'm afraid there isn't a good answer. VLC doesn't want to convert this file, so vlc streamer can't stream it.
