VLCStreamer Helper update for MacOS Apple Silicon?

My Mac (MacOS 26.4.1) is warning me that the next release of MacOS will no longer support Intel-based apps. VLCStreamer version 5.25 is an Intel app and I cannot find a Universal or Apple Silicon version of the app. Is there an update in the works to support Apple Silicon macs before MacOS 27 comes out?
