Subject: CALL TO ACTION

Last month, the NM State Game Commission DENIED a permit renewal to Ted Turner to raise Mexican wolves on his Ladder Ranch and turn them over to the US Fish & Wildlife Service to be released in Southern New Mexico.

Now, Ted Turner's Ladder Ranch and USFWS have requested that this item once again be placed on the commission agenda at their June 13th meeting in Taos so they can try to make them change their decision.

The  US Fish & Wildlife Service cannot be trusted . . . they are accounatable to No One.

This CALL TO ACTION IS asking you to do 2 things!

1st.
Contact the Governor’s office and voice your support for the stand taken by the New Mexico Game Commission in denying the renewal of the Ladder Ranch permit.

        Call the Governor's office.  505.476.2200.
                        or
       Email the Governor's office:  http://www.governor.state.nm.us/Contact_the_Governor.aspx

2nd.
Contact the Game Commissioners to voice your support for their vote in May, and encourage them remain strong in their stand to once again deny the renewal of the Ladder Ranch permit at the June 13th meeting. It is very important that they be able to announce during the Taos commission meeting that they have had massive support for their stance to deny the permit.  Here is their contact information:
