Thank you for your interest in Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver’s proposed campaign finance rule.  We appreciate your input and that of all New Mexicans who either attended a public hearing or offered written comment regarding the proposed rule.  After consideration of the public feedback we received, Secretary of State Toulouse Oliver has prepared a revised draft of the rule to provide additional clarity regarding the disclosure requirements in the New Mexico Campaign Reporting Act.

 

In order to obtain additional feedback, Secretary of State Toulouse is currently accepting written comment on the revised draft rule and will hold an additional public hearing.  The deadline to submit written comments by mail, email or fax is 5:00pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
