Go into terminal and type "su" and enter your root passwordNow you are root! Now type sudo nautilusThen go to the directory /usr/share applicationsNow, instead of doing the command you did just click the search bar and search "Epic" and you should find epic games! Delete the desktop file then restart Gnome Shell by either killing the process in system monitor or by restarting the PC!
You need to move the Phoenix Point folder somewhere else after installation. Then you can uninstall the Epic launcher without it removing the game. You will need to make a shortcut directly to the exe in the Phoenix Point folder.
I have football manager 2020. I want to delete the epic launcher and play this game but my epic folder contains no files or folders called Phoenix point, barring one png file. Can someone please help?
i was trying to update my macbook air and it said that epic games launcher wouldn't close. i went and tried to force quit it, and it still wouldn't quit. not sure what to do now! advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Downloading a 150GB+ game on my SSD, I've symlinked some already downloaded files from the original D:\ directory to C:\ to free up space for new files yet to be downloaded, although symlinking files works but Epic games launcher keeps downloading all the symlinked files again everytime I click pause and resume it later.Why does it does that and how to avoid this behavior?
