If you don't see the share icon, the merchant or company that issued the pass or ticket hasn't enabled sharing in the Wallet app. Check their app or website to see if they provide options to share a pass or ticket.
Find your airport, then look under 'Airport details' to see if mobile boarding passes are available. If not, you can print a boarding pass before you head to the airport or from any self-service kiosk once you're there.
I have early bird check in for my return flight but I am not sure how to get my boarding pass printed at the airport, do I just enter flight information and my name in the kiosk to obtain the boarding pass ? I don't have a smart phone so it needs to be done at the airport.
I like the full service because I like the human interaction and that way I don't mess up the baggage tag . If I just need the boarding pass then the kiosk is great if the mobile pass is not available for some reason.
One thing that I have found good to do is to check in on line or by phone close to 24 hours before departure. It is not necessary to print the boarding pass, but it gives the traveler a chance to check on the status and let's the airline know you are still good to go.
Traveler Tip: When you do not have Early Boarding it is especially important to check in by phone or on line as soon as the 24 hour period begins so that your boarding pass is issued at the lowest number possible. You do not have to print it when you check-in but it puts you in the queue.
All Passengers are eligible for a mobile boarding pass except for infants traveling as a lap child, unaccompanied minors (UMs), individuals traveling on international itineraries, selectee Passengers, and individuals traveling on military fares and government fares.
You can share your mobile boarding pass after adding it to Apple Wallet on an iPhone. To do this, go into the Apple Wallet app and tap on the three dots in the upper-right corner. There will be a share icon in the top-right corner that will allow you to share your pass. Sharing is not currently available through Google Pay.
Yes. There are some exceptions, including international reservations or any reservation over eight passengers. All members of the party will have access to all eligible boarding passes under that reservation.
NOTE: If one of the Passengers traveling on a multi-passenger reservation does not qualify for online check-in (i.e., age-restricted, military, group, etc.), the other Passengers who do qualify will be able to check in and retrieve their own boarding passes.
To board your flight, scan your mobile boarding pass by holding one of the devices listed above with your pass facing the scanner. The scanner is located at the boarding door podium. Once your pass has been properly scanned, you will then be allowed to proceed down the jet bridge.

My husband and I have early bird check in and I received a notification this morning my boarding position is A38, I went to look at my boarding passes, but both the App and the website but it still shows "check in". When can I get the boarding passes? It's been over 2 1/2 hours since I received the notification.
This is the #1 confusion with Early Bird - despite automatically receiving a boarding position 36 hours ahead of the flight, you still have to "check in" at the 24 hour mark to receive your boarding pass and save it to your phone / print it / etc. You can check in any time in the 24 hours before your flight, and that's the true benefit, because your boarding position was already assigned to you ahead of everyone else trying to checking in at < 24 hours.
Online Check-in ends at midnight (eastern time) prior to your sailing date; after that time, you will not be able to access Online Check-in. At embarkation, you will need to provide check-in information to our staff.
On embarkation day, a boarding pass will be emailed to your email address that is linked to your reservation profile, whether Online Check-in has been completed or not. At embarkation, you may show your printed boarding pass or the boarding pass on your mobile phone.

At the airport in Iceland, went to grab food for me and my partner with all our baggage and I waited in a long line only for them to tell me I needed my boarding pass. So I had to walk all the way back to my partner and get it and go behind the big line again.

A boarding pass includes the legal name of the passenger and flight information including: the airline name; departure gate information; departure and arrival cities; flight numbers; departure time; boarding time; boarding group number (when applicable) and seat assignment (when applicable). There will also be a bar code (paper boarding pass) or QR code (mobile boarding pass) for scanning at the security checkpoint and when you board the plane.
If you check-in online prior to your flight, your boarding pass may be emailed to you for printing at home. You can also request a mobile boarding pass, a link for which will be emailed or texted to you. Some international flights will allow you to check-in online but you may have to visit the check-in counter to receive your boarding pass so they can verify your passport.
NOTE: Some airline may charge you for printing out your boarding pass at the airport (Air Asia does, for example, and Spirit Airlines will charge $10 if a Customer Service Agent prints it at the counter though using the kiosk is free). Be sure to read the fine print or you may be hit with extra charges.
If you have a mobile boarding pass, printing out your boarding pass may not be necessary. However, remember that phones can lose battery or technology may fail. To ensure timely boarding, having a paper copy is often a safe choice.
You cannot go through the TSA security checkpoint without a boarding pass in either mobile or paper form. One exception is if you are accompanying a minor or disabled person and you have an escort pass.
It just occurred to me that while printing for the flight to the cruise is easy (we'll be at home), I have no idea how we can print the boarding passes for our flight home after the cruise. They normally can only be printed 24 hours before, and we aren't staying overnight in Seattle so we can't use the hotel's printer. We've done this before but I don't remember how we got our boarding passes. (I've slept since then ...)
