Torpedos available for donation.

Rich Angelini has informed us that three torpedoes are available for
donation from US NAVSEA Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport:

(1) Complete MK35 Torpedo with dates of components between 1953-1954.
(Cart may be included)
(1) "Short" MK 35 Torpedo missing the battery and sections (Exercise
head and Secondary Battery, I believe).
(1) Mk 16 afterbody without the cart.

US Navy wants to give these to best qualified group. So if you know
who would need these for their restoration, please contact Rich
Angelini.

The usual government disclaimers apply such as: They will help any
group load the units in Newport but we cannot ship them, all
transportation/shipping costs have to be absorbed by the acquiring
organization.
