Greetings!

This is to bring to your attention that ENVIS Centers at TERI and GEC are
jointly organizing a one day Seminar on “RE-ENVIS 2015”- Ecological Aspects
of Renewable Energy Development in India on 4th December 2015 at Gujarat
Ecology Commission, Gujarat.


The  Environmental  Information System (ENVIS) network was established as a
plan  programme  under  MoEF,  in  December 1982 to disseminate environment
information among the stakeholders and civil society. TERI has been hosting
the  ENVIS  Centre on Renewable Energy and Environment since July 1984. For
detailed ENVIS activities please visit www.terienvis.nic.in.

Research  Professionals,Policy  makers  from Ministries, Public and Private
Organizations,  Faculty and students from universities and colleges will be
participating  in the said event and this august gathering will be provided
a  forum  to  express  their on Conservation of Ecology & Environment using
Renewable  Energy  sources.  It  will also provide a platform to share best
practices,  models,  experiences,  lessons learned.The programme details of
the workshop will be intimated to you in due course, shortly.

At  this  juncture,  I  would  like  to  invite you or to depute a suitable
participant from your organization for the seminar. We have limited seating
capacity  for  80  participants and it will be strictly on first-come-first
served  basis.  Please  register  yourself at the earliest and confirm your
participation through e-mail.
