Alhamdulillah it is looking good...maybe add a Flickr account to upload
pictures & video to...
What i would like to see is some arbic style font/typography to the HMYA
logo or some type of calligraphy?.
The website should be relevant in design terms. I like the silhouette of
masjids and palm trees but we live in London. One of the most famous cities
in the world. Maybe add a silhouette of London's famous landmarks...

flick through the photostream, there are loads of excellent ideas here.

aspx incorporate some geometrics into the design.
Other Masjid Websites...
http://www.greenlanemasjid.org/ - The logo looks good.
http://www.eastlondonmosque.org.uk/home - Good Colours, good navigation
Language...
Would it be possible to be able to have a langage setting so the language
can be changed from English to Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Bangla, Somali, gurati
etc..
I have seen websites from the council like this...I can try and find some
examples if required.
I know we are trying to build a Masjid and not a website but a good,
effective website could make a massive difference.
The brother who has designed the site has done a fantastic job but maybe in
Juma, an announcement is needed to bring on board people to help in the
design and possibly language aspects...

One of the brothers had an excellent idea of having a videos of tiny clips
of different people why we need a masjid in our local vicinity. I think it
would be really effective and powerful to see different ethnic groups, ages,
reverts etc etc backing the project. It is the image we want to give. As
Sheik Abdul Kadir said, we should inshaAllah be a model for masjids not in
the locality and nationally but in the world.
