School of Musical Traditions' FREE old-time jam happens every other Thursday at their Rockville location (7-8pm)! Pre-registration is required as capacity is limited. Register here for the session tomorrow, November 11th. Led by Justin Heath & Mari Carlson, the jam is geared for beginning & intermediate players. No jam on Thanksgiving of course, but stay tuned for December dates.

School of Musical Traditions is offering another Introductory Taiko Workshop w/Mark H Rooney on Sunday December 5, 5-8pm. Held at Dance Exchange in Takoma Park, MD. This workshop WILL sell out, so register online ASAP!

The Spring Open Mic at Sandy Spring Museum in Olney, MD (sponsored by Institute of Musical Traditions) meets every Tuesday from 7-9:30pm. You must sign up in advance if you'd like to perform, and pre-registration for audience members is recommended as well (indoor capacity is limited to 20 people). Info & registration on Sandy Spring Museum's website. You can also follow the Rob's Open Mics page for updates (and you can watch the livestreams there or on YouTube). 

Institute of Musical Traditions' annual Celtic Holiday show with Robin Bullock, Ken Kolodner and Elke Baker returns on Monday December 13, at Saint Mark Presbyterian Church in Rockville, MD. Proof of vaccination and masking required. Purchase tickets here.
