Greetings from House of Musical Traditions!

Spring is here, and with it, a bumper crop of new inventory that has landed from our suppliers! We've recently received about 2 dozen banjos from Gold Tone, 13 Alvarez guitars, 20 Eastman mandolins & guitars, and several Breedlove & Larrivee guitars. If you're in the market for an acoustic guitar or a banjo or mandolin-family instrument, we have an incredible selection right now from these brands and more (plus used instruments).

Through the end of April, we're offering an exclusive discount to our mailing list members of 10% off any in-stock banjo, mandolin or acoustic guitar (some consignments are included). Just mention the "Spring Strings" discount when shopping in the store, or use discount code SPRINGSTRINGS at hmtrad.com. You can browse our in-stock selection of guitars here, and banjos/mandolins here.

We're also having a big tent sale on Saturday April 22, with lots of bins of deeply-discounted music books, and special markdowns on other items. Come by to browse the selection from 11-7!

Our lessons partner School of Musical Traditions has settled in nicely to their new expanded location at 7112 Willow Ave in Takoma Park, and they have a very busy schedule of workshops, group classes, jams and concerts. They have a new email newsletter just for these events, and if you'd like to get the most current updates on what's offered, click this link to sign up on their mailing list
